PHOTO FACIAL

This revolutionary technology is ideal for treating rosacea, acne, uneven or dark pigmentation, wrinkles, and facial veins. The Aurora couples IPL technology with radiofrequency, which allows the use of lower light energy, making it the safest IPL available for the skin's surface. The treatments are easily tolerated, with only a slight tingling feeling, and sometimes the sensation of a simple pinch, and side effects are rare. Topical numbing cream is available, if desired, but not necessary for most patients. Photofacials take about 30 minutes and have no downtime. For more information, please contact our office for a consultation.

Does this treatment hurt?
No.  There may be only minimal discomfort associated with this procedure.  By cooling the skin surface during the treatment we ensure additional safety and comfort.

Will I have any downtime?
No.  Most patients return to their normal activities immediately following treatment.

How does Skin Rejuvenation with elōs™ work?
The combined Bi-Polar Radio Frequency and Light energies of elōs™ technology precisely and safely target pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun spots and age spots.

When can I expect to see results?

Gradual and cumulative improvement of skin tone is typically achieved between 5-6 treatment sessions.  The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin's condition.

Does this treatment stimulate collagen also?
Yes, the combined energies stimulate significant collagen and elastin production.

How much does it cost?
Treatment costs average between $500-750 per area, and may vary if multiple sites are treated.

How many treatments will I need?
Initially, a series of 5 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart are ideal.

Would you recommend Photofacial treatments for everyone?
No. Photofacials are recommended for fair and medium skin tones. Darker skin types should come in for a consultation and the treatment is never performed on African American skin.
